About Antonio
Antonio’s interest in art began from early age. He studied sculpture in high school but didn’t pursue his interest in art as a career.
However, his passion with art never stops.
Antonio continues self learning and experimenting with drawing, visiting many galleries and gathering inspiration from other artists and their artworks. In 2007 he began to seriously pursue his love with art and found his passion with visual arts in experimenting with paint.
He has integrated the excitement of colour and his experience with sculpture. This experience is clearly seen in his paintings. He expresses a whimsical style using paint with thick, bold application.
Antonio explores abstraction through varying forms and styles, subtle textures and colour to achieve a harmonised effect.
The inspiration of his artwork is the element nature of life, landscape, animal, marine life, desert and others. There are no restrictive roots, symbolising his life journey, floating with unpredictable and fluid nature and about continuing his journey.
Antonio continues experimenting to create interesting and exciting effects to further develop a unique style. He never relies on one technique or style but prefers to experiment with many different methods and techniques of application. He simply wants to paint without constriction.
